In 2015 mass shootings made up less than 3% of the 13,286 gun related deaths (Source: CDC). 64 of the 330 mass shooting incidents were school shootings. The social economic cost of these incidents 2015 was $344,980,000 (Using $9.4 million as the "value of a stastical life" Source: U.S. Department of Transportation) - and that's just accounting for loss of life from these incidents.
